The population of the Municipality of Chester has grown 3.7% between 2016 and 2021, according to Statistic Canada's latest census data.
The population grew from 10,310 to 10,693 people in that time period, making the Municipality the 3rd fastest growing community in Lunenburg County, following Pennal 19 Indian Reserve and the Town of Lunenburg.
